Jessica Simpson has some fans concerned over recent Instagram video posts of her and her husband, singer Clay Aiken, but her fans have been quick to weigh in…
“I think we’re doing a good job to keep a relationship a secret,” Simpson said. “We’ve just been trying to be very discreet. We’re in the recording studio, so we’re not public, and we’re not speaking with the press. I think that’s been a good balance for our relationship. It’s kept us so well.”
The former “Apprentice” contestant is currently promoting a new song she recorded for her upcoming album, and this week she posted a message of encouragement to her Facebook page:
“I am in love with you. I don’t care what anybody else tells you / I’m not afraid to tell the world that I love you / I always have, always will.”
“I hope you see how much I love you, how much I need you. Don’t ever let me be so far away from you / Don’t let us ever be so far apart / Please don’t let it be too long,” she said in the message.
She continued, “Please stop comparing notes; I can’t do that anymore. I have to be my own person. And you have to stay the same way that you’ve always been / And you have to stop letting everyone tell you that you have to change or that you’re not good enough. I love you and always will.”
Simpson’s new song features guest vocals by Aiken, who was a judge on the NBC singing competition series, “The Voice.” It was released to iTunes on Dec. 14, but it didn’t receive a big push on the charts before Christmas, debuting at No. 23 on the chart.
It will be included on Simpson’s upcoming album, which she wrote and produced herself, along with other songs from the former “Apprentice” contestants.
