Tom Brady and Ron DeSantis Are Said to Be on Texting Terms
If you thought the idea that the sitting U.S. president is not only in a text conversation while out of the country on vacation but also with a female relative or adviser while traveling to a foreign country were just a rumor, it looks like we’ll have a new contender for the hottest rumor of the year.
Ron DeSantis, the Republican governor of Florida, is reportedly the subject of “a series of texts and emails from Florida Sen. Marco Rubio about his desire to meet with him,” according to a report by The Daily Beast.
The report of the texts, which were made public by the National Republican Senatorial Committee, comes on the heels of a report last week from Politico that said DeSantis had a text conversation with Ivanka Trump on a plane en route to Venezuela.

There was the potential of the governor’s staff not being able to handle the public disclosure of a conversation about one of their male staffers having an extramarital affair, and the possible public humiliation of DeSantis.
The texts are “pretty disturbing if true,” said John Weaver, a Republican
