‘Yellowstone’ star Wes Bentley says Robert Downey Jr. ‘saved’ him when he was battling heroin addiction

A man who goes by the name of “the guy” has been identified as a person of interest in the disappearance of a Seattle, Washington woman.

Bentley made the claim in an interview on ‘Tonight’ with Carson Daly, who told the actor that Downey was the one who saved his life – while working as a volunteer at a heroin treatment center.
‘He gave me my second chance,’ Bentley told Daly. ‘But he couldn’t help me go to jail. He couldn’t get me help. He couldn’t give me the things that helped me that I needed.’
‘I was so in denial, in pain, and in this big hole, and I had to go to jail,’ Bentley said about his time spent in rehab in Seattle last year. ‘I just wanted to quit. I was living in this drug dream world. He came down to Seattle and he stayed with me, like three or four days. And told me he had a lot of friends at the police and that they would take care of me when I got out of jail. He saved my life.’
Bentley was also forced to confess to his crimes and was sentenced to community service while he was in rehab.
Bentley says that he has been sober for a year, but since admitting to the crimes, is facing a $2,000 fine as well as community service.
